Greenbank home renovation & attic conversion

Attic conversion and home renovation in Giffnock

This project involved an attic conversion with a new ensuite and bespoke fitted wardrobes.

We fitted a glass balustrade on the staircase leading up to the attic for a more open feel.

The fitted wardrobe system was designed with a quirky and heavy duty sliding mirrored front with full storage behind it. We left no corner without storage! From antique mirrored frontal wardrobes to painted MDF wardrobes to a barn style sliding mirror – this space had all the quirks and variations to make it interesting and varied. The internals are wipe-clean Egger board to keep the cost low. This was all designed and manufactured in our workshop in Govan, Glasgow.

We studied the client’s storage needs and lifestyle and created pockets of hanging space, drawers and shelves to ensure a space for everything. We also created a beautiful dressing area with a bespoke vanity table and Hollywood style lights to add a touch of glamour! The mirrors were angled to fit the slope in the ceiling.

The ensuite was designed in timeless white subway tiles with a bespoke angled shower enclosure to fit the space. An angled mirror was bespoke cut to fit the sloped ceiling above the WC to create an illusion of space in a small bathroom. A neat pocket door system ensures practicality. This space still looks fresh after 6 years!

We also made hand painted fitted shaker wardrobes for both bedrooms downstairs in solid timber with oak veneer central panels. A bespoke dressing area with Hollywood mirror, open shelving and practical drawers are flanked by full height tall storage on either side. We fitted new cornice in this room to run above the wardrobes for that perfectly fitted look.
